-green: frog, dinosaur, gecko lizard, dragon, caterpillar, parrot

-yellow or tan: baby chick, tiger, leopard, lion

-red: ladybug, bird, tomato, apple, strawberry

-pink: piece of gum

-black, brown, white or gray: cat, dog, donkey, horse, cow, squirrel, raccoon, guinea pig, hamster, rabbit, penguin

permanent marker

eyebrow pencil

lipstick

hot glue gun

Procedure:

Draw execute details with permanent marker on sleeper: lines, circles, stripes, spots wings etc.

Using the socks or mittens, draw several black lines on the destroy to simulate paws or claws. Draw circles on the palm to look like paw pads.

Using hot glue gun, add details to sleeper. Sequins or faux gems are great for fish scales or birds. Glue faux feathers on for bird wings. Glue ribbon on for stripes. Pom-poms can be fish scales, curly-haired puppies.

Stuff one sock with recycled rags for a tail. Sew it to the back of the sleep or hot glue it on. You can also glue a large pom pom on the back for a fuzzy tail.

Draw a simple face of whiskers making three lines on each side of the face. To make animal noses on babies or toddlers, just put a dab of orange face paint or makeup on the nose for a beak. Red or pink makes a nice mammal’s nose.

Create two ears for the costume using socks and a knit hat. Stuff the socks halfway full of scrap fabric. Cut two puny holes in the hat for ears. Push the open ends of the socks through the holes and tie off the ends in a knot that won’t slip through hole.

10 Things that Make a Magical Girl Show

The ‘mahou shoujou’ or magical girl genre is one of the most common types of anime there is. Although these shows might not be as common as they were a decade ago, who can forget the escapades of Sailor Moon, Ojamajo Doremi, Cardcaptor Sakura, or the Pretty Cure team? All of these shows are recent in their own respects, but most of these shows have at least ten things in common. These are ten things a magical girl show must have:

10. Young Girls. Whether or not you think anime fans are sickos or not, most, if not all, magical girl shows feature young females ranging in age from ten to eighteen. It’s up to the viewer to decide if this is poor for them, even though most of the girls discover and act like their in their twenties, they’re still fairly young in actuality. Fair remember, they’re only fictional!

9. Mundane Items That Happen to be Magical. Pens, perfume, toys, taps, or pearls, every magical girl needs something to effect them magical. A girl cannot become magical on her bear volition. These items can become weapons, wands, or pleasurable accessories.

8. Regular School-Age Drama. Every girl goes through the same things in school. Wanting to fit in, confessing to a boy, forming and maintaining a club, or trying to get qualified grades are all things these girls go through. There’s almost always a school rival or someonw who tries to make their lives a living Heck. Isn’t saving the universe enough stress already?!

7. Mirror Image Baddies. Every protagonist must have an enemy. Most of the time, the group of baddies a group of magical girls must fight are mirror images of themselves with similar or comparable powers. This serves many purposes, such as personality conflict, power source conflict, or a means to force the girls to think on their feet.

6. Magic Source that the Baddies Must Steal. It’s true. Every person in the world has a magical flower, seed, mirror, card, or crystal inside of them that is a great source of power that the baddies must have. Losing these things cause a normal person to turn into a monster the girls must fight.

5. Disgustingly Cute Companions or Mentors. Who better to remark the girls how to be magical but giant eyed, cuddly, squeezeable mentors? Most of the time these creatures are very helpful but even they fall into the comic relief category. Every girl wants to learn to be magical from a witch frog, a fariy, a cat, or a doofy penguin, right?

4. Bad Guy turned Well-behaved Guy Heartthrob. It’s inevitable that some dude that is part of the bad crowd will see the light and have one of the girls fall in admire with them. It doesn’t matter if they’re pillaging a city one minute and saving you the next, they’re still beneficial inside, right?

3. Uncanny Meeting in Japan. It doesn’t matter whether they’re mystical ancient warrior incarnates from the nine planets, the seven seas, or from different planes of the universe; all magical girls in a series just happen to live in Japan, mainly Tokyo, go to the same school, and even sometimes live in the same neighborhood. What a coincidence!

2. Ridiculous Flashy Costumes. What’s a magical girl without a ridiculously flashy, sometimes revealing costume to accompany them? These impossible costumes are a mandatory portion of any magical girl show. They are usually skin tight, with fluffy, short skirts, bows, flowers, you name it, it’s probably attached somewhere. Cosplayers and perverts alike revel these costumes.

1. Flashy (perhaps revealing) Transformation Sequences. These are the biggest red flag of knowing if a show is a magical girl show or not. Every magical girl show needs a flashy, elaborate, and maybe even revealing transformation sequence when the girls turn into their magical personalities. These sequences most often start with a shouted phrase, and you can be sure that these will run in every episode, maybe more than once.

Whether or not magical girl series suit your fancy, you can be sure that you’ll find all of these building blocks within them in some form.

Adult Halloween Theme Party

Halloween parties are fun to throw, but you may be unclear as to where you should launch.  The easiest place to start is to first choose your theme of your party.  As we all know, you can have just a normal costume party where everyone dresses up and comes over for some fun.  Spice it up this year and recall a different theme to get yourself off to a great commence.  It will be fun for you and your guests will be anxiously awaiting your party!

The “P” Party

First, send out your invitations to the party.  Fabricate them creative and clearly state your theme so that guests will understand it.

You may choose to win what your guests can dress up as, then have them RSVP back with what they choose, or you can let them come in what they would like.  The conception is that guests may only come dressed up as something that begins with a “P”.

If you are letting your guests impartial come up with their own creations, then that’s fine.  You may be impressed come the night of your party.  If you want to pick what they come dressed up as, then make a list in your invitations that they can choose from, or you can specifically capture one costume for each guest.  Remember, it may be easier if you give them the list because some costumes may take more time or money to set together than others.

Ideas for costume list:
Peter Pan
Pirate
Perry Mason
Place mat
Pumpkin
Pickle
Possum
Pile of….
Paper boy
Pencil or Pen
Pin Cushion
Paper Shredder
Poor Man
Prince or Princess
Pelican
Penguin
Pamela Anderson
Peter Brady
Pool boy
Paper doll

These are just a few ideas to get you started.  You can spend as many things as you would like, let your imagination take you there!  If this party is done correctly, it can produce a hillarious night and something to talk about long after it’s over.  When you decorate, try decorating with things that only originate with the letter “P”.  Food is the same, assist foods that start with “P” or construct your bear creation and call it something beginning with “P”.  You should have a ball with this one!  Enjoy!

The “Green” Party

This party has remarkable of the same concept as the “P” party, only with this one, your guests will come dressed up as anything that is green.  You may do this one the same way, either give them a list or let them come as they wish.

Ideas for costume list:

Grasshopper
Grapes
Green Apple
Money
Lizard
Peter Pan
Leprechaun
Green Giant
Green Lighter
Green Highlighter
Grass
Tree

This one is a fun one to get creative with.  You could always have them come as whatever you would like and just get it green, such as, a green house, green car, green baby, or anything else that can be made green!  Again, you want to decorate according to the color you choose for your party, so obtain positive the house matches the theme!

With both of these parties, you can get as creative as you want and choose a different letter or color.  It just adds some fun to the party rather than having the same boring costume party.  Be sure to make your invitaions fun and creative, as this is the first sight of your party for your guests!  Have everything organized for your theme.  Once you know the theme you want to use, your food and decorating will be much easier for you and everything will begin to fall in to place.  Have fun this Halloween and always remember to be safe!
